Creating an mdt Task Sequence to just run Scanstate, Loadstate and join domain

We are in the process of migrating users from one domain to another.

I thought I would do this using by editing the MDT Standard Client Task sequence and just process the StateCapture and StateRestore with LoadStateARgs md:olddomain:newdomain. (Hardlink)

I am halfway there, the StateCapture works but the StateRestore does not, there are no apparent errors.  As a workaround I can run a batch file to do the loadstate but it would be nice for it all to done as part of the task sequence.

Is there also a way to force the join domain following a USMT?? so I can change the computer from one domain to another.  I could create another batch file to do this using netdom but MDT does this as part of a standard deployment anyway.
