I understand the built-in "apply os" TS applies the image and creates an answer file at %WinDir%\Panther\unattend so I play around with this a little to see if I can script it instead. What I do is that I use imagex to replace "apply os" step and
create a task after it to copy a working .xml answer file from a previous successful build to %WinDir% \Panther\unattend, but when it gets to "apply windows settings" step, it fails with error "Failed
to initialize answer file. The operating system reported error".
is there something else I need to do so that "apply windows settings" can find the answer file to write additional information to it?
