Special Characters

Quick question:

I am employing the 'Total Control' driver management practice and will be telling my task sequences to use "Windows 7 x64\%model%"... Question:  How do I handle models with special characters in the model name?  I have a model number (when queried using a script) which has three "/" in (e.g XXXXX / XXXXX / XXXXX)

Do I just use the first set of characters leading up to the special character?  or is there some other method?  I cannot create a folder using special characters inside Out-of-Box Drivers.

Regards JH
