I have successfully been using MDT 2102 to capture my Windows 7 x64 master image from a VM and then using it to make my sysprep-ed ISO image. However in the past week I made a few updates to my master image (upgraded to IE9 and a few security updates) and
since doing that I cannot successfully capture it using the LiteTouch.vbs.
The process starts normally and the capture begins but when it is about to complete it reports the below warning:
FAILURE: -1073741819 0xC0000005: Running MSHTA.exe "\\serverIP\share$\Scripts\Wizard.hta" /definition:DeployWiz_Definition_ENU.xml
I have done the below:
- checked share and NTFS permissions (all ok and also using domain admin account for the process so it should not be a matter).
- updated and rebuilt the deployment share (no change).
- checked that all scripts and files are present in the scripts folder of the deployment share.
No changes had been made to the MDT settings from when it used to work to it not working now so I am unable to determine what might be the cause/fix for this issue.
I see that others on this forum and around the net have experienced this issue but there does not seem to be an answer regarding how to resolve it. Has anyone experienced this that can provide a solution? Appreciate any helpful advice.
