FAILURE Running MSHTA.exe on MDT 2012, but only for certain laptop models...

Hey guys,

Man have I got a weird one for you. the LiteTouch Wizard is bombing on me right when I get to the page to select my task sequence, but the crazy thing is its only happening on a handful of laptop models (all others work great). When I inspect the log files this is the only error message I can find:

FAILURE: -1073741819  0xC0000005: Running MSHTA.exe "\\MyServer\MyShare$\Scripts\Wizard.hta" /definition:DeployWiz_Definition_ENU.xml]LOG]!>

What makes it so unnerving is there doesn't seem to be any obvious culprit. I've verified network connectivity under Windows PE, permissions are fine (I can read and write to my deployment root), there's no leftover "MININT" junk on the local disk (I've even run DISKPART CLEAN a few times). The laptops in question are from the HP EliteBook and ProBook series. I've deplyed OSes via MDT 2012 to all our other laptop models without issue. I've Googled the error and come up empty. Does anyone have any advice on where I can go from here in terms of troubleshooting?
