We recently deployed MDT 2012 Update 1, but used the AIK for Windows 7 when we set it up. Now we are looking at doing a few Windows 8 deployments so I need to upgrade to ADK. I was just wondering if there were any "gotchas" associated with this upgrade or if I can just uninstall AIK, install ADK and everything should (in theory) work just fine. I'm assuming that (after the install) I will need to update all my deployment shares to get USMT 5 and Windows PE 4 working, but is there anything else I need to do? Will my old USMT 4 XML files still work? What about DaRT integration? Will I have to use DaRT 8.0 in Windows PE 4? If so will my helpdesk team still be able to remote connect to Windows PE with DaRT 8.0 integrated using their current Windows 7 DaRT 7.0 setups?
