Z: mapping and Task Sequence Not Completing

Couple of issues, uncertain if/how related:

1.  On a end-user PC deployemnt task sequence, once Windows is installed and the machine auto-reboots, does auto-login and begins installing apps, I have "Z:" mapped as \\domain.com\top-level-DFS-namspace  AND "Y:" mapped as  \\domain.com\top-level-DFS-namspace\DevDeploymentshare .  I don't recall seeing anything besides Z: mapped before.  Have doublechecked control xml files, customsettings.ini and bootstrap.ini and they all appear to be pointing properly.  Any other suggestions?

2.  Same build/machine/task sequence, the task sequence won't fully "finish" -- it just winds up sitting on the Windows desktop.   In fact, after the last of my 'Custom Tasks' completes, the machine does the auto-login and sits for ~3-5 minutes before the task sequence "resumes" and re-does the Y: and Z: drive mappings, but again, just sits after that.  I tried manually rebooting a number of times and it just continues to auto-log in.  I finally navigated out to the "Scripts" directory and manually ran LTICleanup.vbs at which point it deletes both _SMSTaskSequence and MININT folders and when I manually reboot after THAT it finally presents the CTRL-ALT-DEL screen.  Again, suggestions?
