Drivers for windows 8 need to be imported in windows 7 computer's deployment share.

Hey everyone, and thanks for any advice in advance :)

I'm struggling with finding the best way for solving the following problem:

I am introducing my workplace to MDT, and will have to make a quite simple guide for them, to create images and deploy them using a Media/USB. We need to deploy images to windows 8/windows server 2012 on different HP workstations, and will therefore sometimes need some HP drivers to be imported in the 'Out-of-box drivers'. However, when you download a driver-package from HP's homepage, you will have to install the drivers, and import the folder, created during the installation, to the Out-of-box Drivers.

My problem is now, that since the guide will have to be quite general, I can't assume for everyone to have their deployment shares/MDT's on a HP workstation running windows 8/Windows server 2012.

What would be the best way of installing these drivers? Is it possible simply to install them on e.g. windows 7 laptops, and still be able to use the created folder? Will they have to have a physical HP computer, running windows 8, or can a virtual computer (i.e. VMWare) do the job? Or is there maybe a way of directly importing the drivers to the 'Oob Drivers', without installing them, that I'm not aware of?

Any useful advice or clever thoughts will be generously rewarded with lots of thanks and useful-votes/answer markings.
