Time difference for MDT (lite touch) and WDS

Suppose we are considering deploying Win 7 using MDT (lite touch) and WDS (using multicast).
For simplicity, we are only deploying Win 7 OS. No extra software or drivers.

Case 1: Suppose I test deploying to 2 target PCs.
I measure the time it takes => suppose it is x hours.

Case 2: Suppose my final objective is 1000 target PCs.
Suppose the PCs are all in same location.

Would the time difference of case 1 and case 2 be much different? If yes, roughly how much?
