When using the "copyprofile" option is my profile is corrupt. This is only for the use of Windows 8 and copyprofile. This problem does not occurs under Windows 7 and even Vista
What happens:
1) when you go to Google.be you get for the 1st time the question "start faster with search: Add google to your start page". When you click No, this will not remember, once you close Internet Explorer and reopen, the question comes back. This problem
does not occur when "copyprofile" is not used
2) when you want to log into outlook.com, everything seems to work normally. But when you want to create a new mail, for example, you can only type the text down, but you can not use the functions for formatting text. You can push on that button, but this
is not functioning. This problem also does not occur when copyprofile not used.
Copy profile does work correctly with Windows 7, and I do this as follows:
1) I install Windows with MDT without Unattend.XML copyprofile
2) add my registry settings that make my desired adjustments
3) Image is uploaded sysprept because I use docapture = yes
4) fresh created image is moved to the folder where the final image will be placed
5) Windows is installed with MDT to the customer's device with Unattend.XML copyprofile
To get the job done with Windows 8 (which is cumbersome and not fully automated)
a) I install my image on a device
b) make my adjustments via registry in a script
c) I do a sysprep with copyprofile in Unattended.xml
d) Created image I put in MDT with Unattend.XML with copyprofile
e) Image is uploaded sysprept because I use docapture = yes
f) that image is moved to the folder where the final image will be placed
g) Windows is installed with MDT to the customer his device without Unattend.XML copyprofile
After many tests I have come to this conclusion
- The problem specific occours with copyprofile, even when i don't make any adjustments at all, the same corruption occours
- Problem also occurs when MDT is not used
Software used:
- Server 2012 with WDS + MDT
- MDT 2012 update 1
